KST has been developing and manufacturing cameras since 1999, specialising in reversing cameras for driver assistance and electronic mirror solutions.
Our core competencies include external cameras for rail vehicles, electronic rear-view mirror solutions, pantograph and track monitoring cameras, as well as analogue, SDI, IP and thermal imaging camera options.
In collaboration with TU Dresden, a housing was developed that is aerodynamically optimised to minimise soiling of the viewing window. The solution has been patented.
A key technical highlight is the HYDRO-CLEAN coating applied to sight glasses, which significantly reduces soiling. All designs comply with the normative regulations for railway vehicles.
